So the Curly Scarf is not a new one to my repertoire. In fact, it was one of the first patterns that I ever wrote down and have used it for countless gifts and other scarves since. When a girl that I work with asked for a scarf and gloves I immediately knew that this scarf was the scarf for her. Trouble was, I needed to match two different kinds of purple yarn to each other. I found the purple for the gloves almost instantly, this gorgeous variant from a pale lavender to a darker purple.
I searched and searched, buying around 7 different colors of purple before discovering that I already had a purple that was the closest that I had found yet!
The problem was, I didn't have a full skein of it, but knew I would have enough to make what she wanted, I would just have to adapt the pattern. I liked it so much that I wanted to type up this new version and share it with you.
New Curly Scarf:
Hook: "I" or "J"
I used about 2/3-3/4 skein of a Caron Simply Soft.
Pattern:
Chain 102, turn
R1: dc in 3rd chain from hook, and 2 dc in each chain until end.
R2: ch2, dc in same, dc in next *2dc, 1dc* until the end.
R3: ch 2, dc in each st until end. FO.

Isn't is just so easy, and so pretty?
